Get your Dabe account set up and start monitoring Reddit conversations in just a few steps.

Step 1: Sign Up

Create your account at dabe.io/sign-up. You can sign up with your email or use Google/GitHub authentication.

Step 2: Company Setup

During onboarding, you’ll enter your company website URL. Dabe will automatically extract:
  • Your company name
  • Product description
  • Target audience
This information helps generate relevant AI responses that match your brand voice.

Step 3: Add Keywords

Keywords are the search terms Dabe monitors across Reddit. Add keywords related to:
  • Your product category (e.g., “email to task app”)
  • Competitor alternatives (e.g., “Notion AI alternative”)
  • Problem statements (e.g., “how to manage slack notifications”)
Dabe shows search volume and CPC data to help you prioritize high-value keywords.

Step 4: Select Subreddits

Choose which subreddits to monitor for your keywords. Dabe suggests relevant communities based on your product category and shows:
  • Member count
  • Posts per day
  • Average comments

Step 5: Add Competitors

Track up to 5 competitors to monitor their Reddit mentions and compare your share of voice. Dabe analyzes how often each competitor is mentioned in AI recommendations.

Step 6: Create a Persona

Set up a Reddit persona to post responses. Connect your Reddit account and configure:
  • Display name
  • Role (Employee/Founder, Customer, etc.)
  • Response style

Next Steps

Once set up, you can: Your workspace will also be picked up by scheduled scans once you have active keywords or competitors configured. If you need fresh results immediately, use the refresh icon on the Posts page to run a manual scan.
