Subreddits are the Reddit communities where Dabe monitors for posts matching your keywords. Adding relevant subreddits ensures you capture conversations where your target audience is active.

## Subreddit Metrics

### Members

Total subscribers to the community. Larger communities mean more visibility but also more competition.

### Posts/Day

Average number of new posts daily. Higher activity means more opportunities but also faster-moving conversations.

### Avg Comments

Average comments per post. Higher engagement means your responses will be seen by more people.

## Managing Subreddits

Click **Refresh Stats** to update member counts and activity metrics for all subreddits.

### Edit Subreddit

## Choosing Subreddits

### Good Subreddits to Monitor

* **Product category communities:** r/productivity, r/software
* **Industry-specific:** r/projectmanagement, r/smallbusiness
* **Problem-focused:** r/ADHD, r/getdisciplined
* **Recommendation requests:** r/SuggestALaptop, r/AskReddit

### Subreddits to Avoid

* Very broad subreddits (too much noise)
* Communities with strict self-promotion rules
* Inactive subreddits (\< 1 post/day)

## Best Practices

1. **Start with 5-10 subreddits** - Expand as you learn what works
2. **Balance size and relevance** - Smaller niche communities often convert better
3. **Check community rules** - Some subreddits prohibit promotional content
4. **Monitor activity** - Focus on subreddits with high engagement
